sum up expression path results

Hello, I'm not very advanced in xpath commands and infopath in general.
I have a repeating table that I'd like to multiply the total of pages
and price per page.
Then sum the total of the table column with the results of the
multiplications.

Here's a screenshot:

The total is worked out: my:pages * my:priceppage
but I can't figure out how to make the sum of all the totals.

Is that possible?

Thanks for your help :)

Hi,

1. Double click on the “Total Sum†expression box.
2. Click on “fx†button in the Insert Expression box.
3. Enter sum (total) in the Insert formula box.
4. Click on ok.

I hope this will help you.

erm.. Actually no. I already knew that part, but the expression box
doesn't have its own field with the resulting value of the
multiplication., does it? Can I make the expression box set a field
with the result of the multiplication? And then sum the results in the
total sum?

You can use the text box for “Total†field other than Expression box and then
change the text box to read only. Now Total field is displayed in the data
source.

Open the expression box properties dialogue box. Fx button is displayed end
of the XPath text box field.
