Sum when one cell is blank & another cell is not blank.

I want to sum the values in column D when the value in column C is blank and
the the value in column F is not blank. (I'm using Excel 2003. )

Thank you! I've been trying to find the answer for a while & looking 'in all
the wrong places.'
