sumif when criteria range is larger but includes criteria

Trying to sum values when the criteria range (text) is larger (more
characters) but includes the criteria. Example: Sumif(A1:A10,"BOS",B1:B10)
to also include B2 in sum when criteria range cell A2 is "BOS-336".
