SUMIF

I want to use a cell reference as the criteria argument of SUMIF.
for eg.: SUMIF(A7:A206,A2,C7:C206)
So that cells from A7 through A206 are compared to A2
(which is a drop-down list) and the total is displayed.

How can I do this?

Oops! I never used SUMIF so I typed it as in the Help file: "A2"

TY :)

You *have* done it :)

What happens, when you enter
=SUMIF(A7:A206,A2,C7:C206)

It *should* work right away.
