Summary Progress Bar in Gantt Chart

Hi,

In Project Center I've defined a simple view to display the status of each
progress based on the Project Summary (Task 0). This displays a nice bar in
the view from the start to the finish of the project. I've added the Summary
Progress bar which adds a layered line indicating some sort of progress on
the project. This line does not correspond to % Complete or % Work Complete
for the project. Does anyone know exactly how this is calculated? Thanks!!!
