Summary Progress Bars and Baseline Summary

I am having a problem with the way my tracking gantt chart displays. I update
my customer once a month and I want it to display the same everytime, but for
some reason this month it is displaying different information and I can't
figure out how to change it.

Last month it displayed Summary Progress Bars (hatched bar) and the Summary
bars were all black. It also displayed baseline milestones (clear diamonds).
This is exactly what I want...

Now I can't get it to display the Summary Progress bars at all, the Summary
bars show the bar show the baseline (I want them to be black) but this seems
to be the only way I can get the baseline milestones to show up.

What strange thing have I done to my project???

Hello Judy,

Is it possible you were working with the Tracking Gantt view last
month and have switched to the Gantt chart view showing baseline and
tracking data?

See if switching the view to the Tracking Gantt looks familiar.

Thanks Julie, but I am definately in Tracking Gantt chart view. Here is some
more information.

The names I am using for the various bars are the names that show up in the
legend when you print it.

Last month my legend read:

column 1
critical
critical split
critical progress

column 2
task
split
task progress

Column 3
baseline
baseline split
baseline milestone

Column 4
milestone
summary progress
summary

Column 5
Project summpary
external tasks
external milestone.

Column 6
Deadline

This month the legend reads:

Column1
Task
Task Progress
Critcal Task
Critical Task progress

Column 2
Baseline
milestone
baseline milestone
Summary

Column 3 (I don't want any of these)
Rolled up Task
Rolled Up Critical Task
Rolled up Mileston
Baseline Summary (I really don't like this one)

Column 4
Rolled up baseline
Rolled up Baseline milestone
Rolled up progress
split

Column 5
External tasks
Project summary
Group by summary
Deadline



So basically this month I have a bunch of things on my legend that I don't
want, and I am missing my Summary Progress bar which I do want.
