Summary task Duration calculation error

I have a project that has started acting screwy and I can’t recall
changing anything that should cause this. Summary tasks are no longer
updating Duration to reflect sub task durations when they are
changes. For instance I have a Summary duration that was 13.91 days
and changes on of the subs to 16 days and the duration does not
changes. I tested adding a new task, not assigning a duration, so it
defaults to 1? Day. Then inserting a sub task with 3 days duration
and the summary is still 1? Day.

This is also represented on the Gantt chart, with the Sub Task
extending out past the length of the Summary Task.

Any help will be appreciated
