Summary task issues

I have a project with about 100 tasks. All of a sudden
my attempts at indenting the subtasks into summary tasks
has stopped working. The summary task will not update.
Is this a "feature" or did I make a switch somewhere?

possibly you have switched calculation to manual.
Try going to tools menu / options / calculation tab and set to automatic.
Or hit F9 and it will recalc.
