summary task progress

I am fairly new to using Microsoft project so this might be a simple problem to fix. My project is broken down into tasks and summary tasks. When I initially set everything up, I could update the project and the summary task would have a diagonal dashed bar underneath representing percent completion on the subtasks as a percentage of the summary task. Now this indicator is gone. Can anybody help me to get this back?

Hello,

Are you in the Tracking Gantt view ?
If yes, open the Format / BarStyle dialog, and get down to the "Summary"
task symbol.
Just above it, you would have the Summary Progress symbol. If it's not here,
you will have to create it or to copy your Tracking Gantt from the
Global.mpt to your mpp file

Nevermind, I figured it out myself, I wasn't looking at the "Tracking" Gantt chart
