Summary task update

Hi,

My summary task % complete is either 0% or 100%, Its not showing me
the average of the sub task % complete. How do I fix this ?

Hi,

Thank you for respoding. Here is an example.

ID Task % Complete Start
Finish Duration

1. Summary 0% 07/ 18/2008
07/25/2008 7d
2. Task 1 30% 07/18/2008
07/ 20/2008 2d
3. Task 2 50% 07/20/2008
07/25/2008 5d

I have 30% and 50% for sub tasks, but the summary task does not show
the average of 30 and 50, instead shows 0%.
The summary task changes to 100% when both the subtask are 100%. so
the summary task is taking only 0% or 100%.

Is there any setting which I can change, so that the summary tasks can
show the average of the sub tasks % complete.

Hi,

Yes, I checked a couple of things, Calculation mode is set to
automatic. I even tried changing to manual and clicking on Calculate
now. Did not help.
I also clicked on Project update. That did not help either.
