In MSP 2007 RTM PWA, while viewing my tasks under "my work" tab, I do not see
the summary tasks of the scheduled tasks. This is different than PWA 2003,
where the summary tasks where visible in this view. Is there a way to add the
summary task to this view other than adding the resource name to the summary
task as well as the task itself?

Regards,
Daniel

Brian,
We created a work around to resolve this problem. We added a Macro that
copies the Summary task name to the tasks under it, and rolled the field to
it's assignments. Then ,we added this field to the assignment view, thus
enabling the users to view the summary task name.
Hope this helps,
Daniel

Clever solution with the Macro...

I have the reverse problem. When I view a Project in Project Center in
PWA 2007, it ALWAYS shows the Summary Tasks.

I need a view that doesn't show the Summary Tasks.

Any ideas on how to remove the Summary Tasks (without removing the
tasks that they summarize?)

Thanks!!

is it possible to have framework for that macro? We have a similar
requirement to show summary tasks in the task view.

Daniel,

Would you care to share that macro? We have exactly the same problem and it
would be so nice to have a fix!
