Summary Tasks not 'Rolling Up'

I'm getting a problem where my summary tasks do not display updates to their subtasks. For example I input 12 tasks which all defaulted to Project Start Date 13/1/04, I then made the Top One a summary task, and then edited the other 11 changing their dats and durations. However the summary task still displays 13/1/04 and Duration = 1. I can't edit the detail without chaning it to a non summary task which is going to be a pain

Is there something I need to 'turn on' to get my Summary Tasks to react to thetheir sub tasks ?

Probably just have to re-calculate. Press F9 key. Or set calculation
to be automatic in Menu: Tools/Options, Tab: Calculation, top of
dialogue box.
