Summing Records that Carry Same ID -- Ridiculously Easy Question

I have records like so (excerpted):

PIN AMT DATE
001141 773348 2/21/07
001141 800000 2/21/07
005433 500000 3/01/08
006600 1100000 3/21/08
006600 500000 3/21/08
006600 10000 3/21/08

How can I come up with a table that looks like this (DATE is the same for
all records of the same PIN):

PIN AMT
001141 (total for all records for 001141) 2/21/07
005433 (total for all records for 005433) 3/01/08
006600 (total for all records for 006600) 3/21/08

Well, finally figured out what was going on when I tried to group by sum.
There be problems in the database...

PIN AMT SomeDate
GoupBy Sum GroupBy

Date is a reserved word and is one of the most likely to cause problems
using it. Change the name of the field.

You can try using an AGGREGATE QUERY for this. See this tutorial:
