How can I work out the number of times "DIV" appears in H8:H425 when the date
in I8:I425 is => 01 April 08?

=SUMPRODUCT(--ISERR(H8:H425),--(I8:I425>=DATE(2008,4,1)))

Oops I misread as DIV/0 error

=SUMPRODUCT(--(H8:H425="DIV"),--(I8:I425>=DATE(2008,4,1)))
