Super Slow Pasting into FrontPage 2003

I copy info from Publisher 2003 and paste into FrontPage 2003. It takes
between 15 and 20 second for a two sentence item to appear after I hit CTRL-P
in FrontPage!!! At this rate it will take me forever to get my webpage
changes into the site. I had no such problems pasting from Publisher 2000.
Can anybody tell me what is going on? (I have no other programs open and I
use Windows XP).

How long since you've cleared your temporary files and run scan disk and defrag??

I had a similar problem with just one page. When typing, there was a 3 to 5 second delay
between hitting the key, and the character appearing. When I finally looked at the HTML,
FP had inserted hundreds of <align="left"> tags. When I deleted them, my problem went away.
