superscription made a red line and arrows appear

Hello,
I was typing in Word and made a superscription by highlighting the number,
going to FORMAT then FONT and checked the SUPERSCRIPTION box. Now I've got a
red line and arrow pointing to it with a box that is recording every action I
take to try and remove it. Whenver I type anywhere in my document now, it's
in red and I cannot change the color. HELP!

You have Track Changes turned on. Turn it off and Accept All Changes in
Document.
