Hi

I am confused. Just trying to place a very simple combo on a new form and
get the error message
Data can not be retrieved from the source you have selected

There is a MS page for this

But I can't find the link for the correct download to fix this.

Any Ideas ??

Follow the link from that page (http://msdn.microsoft.com/data/default.aspx)
There should be a box on the left-hand side labelled "Getting Started
with...". Choose the MDAC/WDAC link there (If you don't have that box, go to
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/data/default.aspx)

The most recent version of MDAC listed there is 2.8 SP1. Click on that link
(or go directly to
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...95-efc2-4f8e-a9e0-3a1afbd5922e&displaylang=en
) and you should be able to download MDAC_TYP.EXE from there.
