Suppress Post-Install prompts through Office Customization Tool

Wondering if there is a way to suppress the following prompts from appearing
when users open Office 2007 for the first time. I've configured a MSP file
through the OCT, but can't find any settings that might prevent these windows
from appearing. Any ideas? Thanks.

1) Privacy Options window - 3 options, Get Online Help, Keep system running,
Make office better. We want all three options unchecked.

2) Sign up for Microsoft Update window - Do not want to sign up.

3) Synchronize to RSS Feeds with Common Feed List Prompt (Outlook 2007)- No.

4) Windows Desktop Search prompt (Outlook 2007) - Check do not show this
message again.

Updating the latest Admin files allowed for me to disable the Privacy Options
prompt "Opt In screen"

However, Im unable to come up with a solution for the Windows Desktop Search.

I know the following will fix it for the current user:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Options\General]
"BodyEditor"="{00020906-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}"
"PONT_STRING"="60,"

My issue is I need to make it so all current user profiles or new ones need
to get this registry key added. how can I go about this?

Can't you do that in the OCT? In the Additional Content section, Add Registry
Entries.

Are you using the latest Admin files? If not you can get them here.

You will then need to extract them and copy the entire \Admin folder into
the folder that contains the installation image you are customizing.

Hope this helps

Yes you can

however, my issue is.

That line will only do "current user" which the current user is the System.
Im having this same issue as putting shortcuts in the quick launch for all
user profiles. The OCT only does current user, which again is the system
account. And many of our domain computers are shared workstations, multiple
people log in through the day. We are deploying this via SMS.

Hi Mike,

Please excuse my ignorance here, but I have dowloaded the latest OCT admin
files and have searched, and searched, for the ability to supress the Privacy
Options in Word, with no such luck. Where did you find that option?

As for the Desktop Search, I have found a couple of options, don't know if
they address your issue, or are limited to the system account, but I'll throw
it out there:

1. Under Features, Modify User Settings, MS Outllook 2007, Tools|Options,
Prefs, Search Options, Prevent installation prompts when Windows Destop
Search component is not present.

2. Under Features, Modify User Settings, MS Outllook 2007, Search Folders,
Do not create default search folders when users start Outlook.

I can forsee that we will run into the exact same situation, as we have a
handful of shared workstations as well, and we too are deploying via SMS. I
have just started creating my installation MSP's and doing all my testing and
adjusting. Any tips you can pass along would be greatly appreciated.

To disable the privacy option prompt after you have updated the admi
folder with OCT 2 files, go to:
Modify user settings -- Microsoft office 2007 system -- privacy -
trust center -- disable opt-in wizard of first ru
