Suppress the bouncing icon?

It seems that the icon for Entourage will bounce whenever it gets an
error entered into the error log. I get these constantly due the
"Expected SPACE not found" error which appears to be attributed to odd
folder names on the server. Fine, I can deal with the errors until a
patch comes along, but I am getting sick and tired of seeing the
application icon bouncing in the Dock to inform me of the error.

Is there a way to prevent the thing from bouncing constantly? I can't
find anything in the preferences to suppress this and I fear it is a
system setting or something. It is driving me batty! Help!

There is a utility mentioned here (Dock Detox) that might be able to do the
trick, though it will apply to all applications, not just Entourage.

It might be easier to ask your administrator to change public folder names
and for you to change your personal folder names to eliminate the special
characters.
