I have my contacts set to detailed address cards, and one of the fields I use
is "Notes". Some of my contacts have notes, but not most of them. When I look
at the contacts in the contact view, if there are no notes, Outlook
suppresses the field. However, when I print out the contacts, Outlook adds
the "Notes:" field on some of the names, even though it is empty. And it
doesn't even do it on every contact. I've tried going to the notes section in
a contact's address card that is empty and deleting any empty spaces, but
there was no change. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is this a bug? Is
there some way that I can instruct Outlook to suppress the empty notes
fields? It seems to be the only field that does this.
Thanks for any help!
