Surrogate for "My Tasks"

In Project Server 2003, we can "Adjust Actuals" for any task, including
project tasks. We are deploying MSOP 2007 and would like to be able to do
this same thing in "My Tasks" because we do not wish to use "My Timesheets."
Is there a way that a resource within MSOP 2007 (e.g., a resource manager)
could enter time in "My Tasks" for another resource?

There is the concept of an assignment owner being different than the actual
resource on the task. This means that the assignment shows up under the
assignment owners task list and they are the ones that can enter the time.
This is not quite the same as being able to adjust hours after the fact so I
am not sure if that would meet your requirements.

Thanks, Jonathan. That's what I needed to know.

so does this mean i have to update/change the assignment owner for the
resource each time i have to update actuals, make the change and then change
it back?
