sUse Publisher 2003 Files in FrontPage?

I built a simple resume web site off-line in Microsoft Publisher 2003.
It looks like many hosting sites are more ready to accept web sites
created with FrontPage. Can I buy FrontPage and then open my Publisher
2003 created web file in it? If not, do I really have to start all over
in FrontPage? Or are there some web hosting services where a simple
page created in Publisher 2003 can be put on the net? I'm not a
computer professional but want to have an on-web resume for my
consulting business. Thanks for your suggestions.

You can open your online web created in Publisher if you have FrontPage
extensions on it. Can you edit it?..uh, yeah sorta but you really won't want
to try to wade through the code that Publisher creates. If you think you
will be getting into more than just putting up a simple web you should think
about FrontPage...if all you'lll really do with your web is put your resume
up and maybe some other stuff, then Pub may be your ticket to happiness.

You can upload your Publisher website to any web host. I think you are
confusing the fact that many hosts support FrontPage Server Extensions
(FPSE), which you need if you want to upload from Publisher using the HTTP
protocol. However, you can also upload using FTP or by using the uploading
feature of the webhost, with some caveats. A host having FPSE does not mean
you have to use FrontPage to build your site.

Here is a good article to read:

And then to understand more specifics about how to upload your Publisher
site:
