Suspending hyperlink search with Outlook Express 6?

Is it possible to suspend or eliminate Outlook Express from checking for
hyperlinks withing email messages?

I use O.E for newgroup reading where some of the messages and posted file
downloads need to be save in
text format. When this happens, O.E. begins looking for hyperlinks. I
would like to turn this feature off when saving such postings.

Is there a way to suspend the checking of hyperlinks?

Tips, suggestions and recommendations will be appreciated!

You have a much better chance getting an answer if you post your
question in an Outlook Express group such as
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general -or-
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress
