Hi Michael,
Visio can export in SVG format. Word does not have an
import graphics filter capability for SVG (scaled vector
graphic) format.
If you don't need to be able to edit the graphic in Word
then you can group your drawing elements, copy the group
to the clipboard and in Word use Edit=>Paste Special
and select Picture(Enhanced Metafile) format and see
if that gives you better results or save/export from
Visio in one of the formats that Word does support in
Insert=>Picture=>From File.
========
I'm using the old method of copying from Windows Explorer an SVG file, then pasting the file into word. My problem is that the pic
is extremely small surrounded by extremely wide margins (saved from Visio... it sees the whole page). I can't crop the picture, and
I can't seem to find a filter for SVG-Word. Does one exist, or is there a better way to get an SVG graphic within word?>>
