SWEN VIRUS

I posted here once and i used my real email and now i am
getting about 30 emails a day all with the swen virus. Is
there a way i can stop this without changing my email?

Probably not. Posting to public newsgroups using a real email address
unfortunately has that nasty side-effect. Using a junk filtering solution
should help stop the flood, but sadly this is something which impacts most
of us that use real addresses.

I have received thousands of SWEN messages since September 18. when it
started. It got so bad I wrote a program to automatically kill it off the
server (denial of denial-of-service if you like) since local filtering was
no solution as I still had to download it. After 6 weeks of applying this
cure it shows clear signs of fading away, the last copy so far arrived 4
days ago (I used to get ~50 a day).
