Hello,
For quite some time, I have used Macromedia Flash files
within powerpoint without any problems. A little VBA to
advance slides and reset the swf animations, and I was
all set. This was using Powerpoint 97.
Recently I installed Office XP on a freshly installed
Windows XP computer, and was testing one of my
presentations that has a flash movie in it. To my
surprise (and frustration), the mouse pointer appeared on
the screen when it went to the slide containing SWF.
Even if I used the keyboard command to hide the mouse in
Powerpoint, the mouse still showed up. I went back to
the source file in Macromedia Flash and added a
Mouse.Hide command in the first frame, then used that new
Flash file in the presentation. Now the mouse pointer
shows up, but will disappear as soon as I move it. I
have even tried setting the CursorType setting in VBA to
hide the cursor, but it will always show up when I go to
the slide that has VBA.
Any ideas on how to make that mouse to always disappear?
Thanks.
