Swimlane Lines not appearing when large flowchart is printed

I am trying to print a very large cross-functional flowchart. When I print it
on a large printer (22 X 68) it comes out fine, but when I print it on a
small printer (about 21 pages of 8.5 X 11 which I then tape together to make
a large chart) the cross-functional lines don't print & I need to draw them
in with a pen. How can I make the lines print when I am printing a large
chart on multiple pages?
