Switch from OWA (Outlook Web Access) to Outlook

Domenick

I was just given a new e-mail address from my company. They gave me a website
and when I go to it and log-in, a window opens in IE called Outlook Web
Access. It has the look and feel of outlook, but it runs in my browser. I am
assuming that I am connected to an exchange server.

My question: Is it possible to connect to this account and send/receive mail
from my regular, standalone Outlook 2007 application? I've tried to set it up
both as a web-mail account and as an Exchange account, but I have not had any
luck connecting. Can someone walk me through the correct process for setting
this up? I only have the following info from my company: e-mail address, user
name, password and a url in the form "https://secure.<company
name>.com/exchange".

You'd have to ask the mail administrator of that company and ask if they
have made that available to you. You'll require additional server settings
in order to configure it which only your mail admin can provide.
