switchboard design

I am writing a database under one name and another database under another
name. I was wondering if it is possible for each database to share the same
switchboard or do I have to combine the two?

Depends on what you mean by "share"

In Access a "database" is a container and so the switchboard is "in"
whichever container (database) it's in.

If you mean can the same switchboard access data from multiple databases,
you can design your database so that it will do that.

Fred,
Thank you for your response. What I have created is a database to track keys
issued and a separate database to track inspections of numerous worksites.
Both databases contain their own quires and forms. What I want to be able to
do is create a switchboard to run both as is and possible add more databases
to the switchboard. I was wondering if both programs have to be together with
their own respective relationships or can stay the way they are and work off
the same switchboard.
