Switchboard error?

I get an error I can't seem to fix when I try to go to the switchboard editor
it says
"The expression On Exit you entered as the event property setting produced
the following error: The object you referenced in the VB procedure as an OLE
object isn't an OLE object." after I click 'ok' theres an error in the
switchboard mgr. "The switchboard mgr was unable to fin valid switchboard in
this database. would you like to create one?" I choose 'yes' and it says it
already exists.
Please help I did not set any expression On Exit in the event property, and
there is no reference of this error listed as an OLE object.
(note: help files do not help)
