Hi All!
I am trying to force all non-admin users to use the
switchboard and forms while not being able to open the
tables, queries, or other objects directly. I have
implemented user-level security with the help of a server-
based .mdw file and shortcuts, and it seems to doing it's
job, but unless I enable insert permissions (for the basic
users) on the tables involved in these forms, the forms
just come up blank (with no controls in them). I tried
Setting the "Run Permissions" for each of the queries
involved to "Owner's" (RWOP) - also tried giving the users
full permissions (update, insert, delete) to the queries
themselves (not the tables) - still no luck.
Please help!!
Thanks,
Erik
