Switchboard issue

I am having a buggy type problem with Access 2003. I want to view a form in
Datasheet view ONLY. I tried the default view settings, disabled all other
views, and even tried using the DoCmd with the acFormDS, and when I click the
command button on my switchboard to bring up that particular form, it is in
Form view. As soon as I switch it to Datasheet view, the Form view option is
no longer available. I want to come into this form in Datasheet view, and
only allow Datasheet view. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
