You can make your own switchboard. Just create an unbound form, and add
command buttons as needed. I have almost nothing good to say about the built-
in switchboard, which I have heard described as a complicated solution to a
simple problem. It was one of the first built-in utilities I abandoned when
I started learning Access. If I had to find something good to say it would
be that for a simple database it can let you quickly add command buttons.
That said, to use the switchboard manager you can use one of the buttons to
open another switchboard. I think that is the only solution. Access Help
seems to be reticent about switchboard limitations.
