Switchboard limits to 8 items

Is there a way to change the number of switchboard items to allow more than 8
options?

Yes, but you cannot use the Switchboard manager to do it or to modify it
once you have done so. A better alternative is to have one or more of your
switchboard options point to another switchboard. The best thing to do is to
create your own "switchboard" using command buttons. You have much more
flexibility.

I assume that you know you can use one button to go to the next layer of
buttons by adding the to table named Switchboard Items.
