switchboard not working after running a macro

Switchboard form (SBF) includes a control that runs a master macro...(the
macro is running all of the other macros in the database). When it returns
control to the SBF, it will not respond when pressing another control. The
database must be closed and reopened for the other controls to work. So far
"Repaint" and even refresh all from the menu have not worked. I ran a
diagnostic, rebuilt the SBF and still have not had any luck fixing this. Is
anyone else having a similiar problem? Is this yet another MS bug? Thanks in
advance for your help.

Did you try the easy fix of having macro close and then open the switchboard
form?

Thanks Dave! It is Access 2007. Don't know why a macro cannot run from a
switchboard command without disabling the other commands when the control
returns to the main switchboard page. If not a bug, then it must be becasue
I am a newbie. Maybe I can setfocus in code at the end of the macro? No
reason for the form to restore functionality when it is closed and then
re-opened. Seems like Repaint, Requery or Refresh All should work? Thanks
again for your input in advance. It is appreciated.

Hi Karl...Yes...I just tried it. I used "Close" after each macro then I
insert an Open form line within the macro. The second control on the
switchboard form does absolutely nothing. I mean that you depress it and it
just sits there with no message or anything. It's like it is in a loop.
Strange that closing the database and reopening it fixes the problem.
Something to do with Compact and Repair on close? Thanks again for this
suggestion.
