Switchboard

I am trying to creat a switchboard using Switchboard
manager. When I enter the manager, it shows the Default
switch board page. I then go to add a switchboard page,
say Payments, and when I view the Switchboard page, I
receive the message "Theyre are no Items on the
Switchboard page", and "Theyre was an error reading the
switchboard items table". I wondered if anyone could
help me here!! Thanks!
