The problem is when I click New Menu on the Switchboard Form it doesn't open
the secondary Switchboard. I retried on many occasions and it is though
something in Access 97 has changed. I have created them in the past without
problem. Any ideas.

Hi Bruce,

The items listed work just fine for me on Access 97 so something is amiss on your end.

Long shot but try compiling your database and then compacting.
Working now?

Try renaming your Switchboard Items table to OldSwitchboard Items and
your Switchboard form to OldSwitchboard. Then re-run the Wizard and
it will create a new table and form. Fill in the details again.
Working now?

If so, then delete the older objects and compact again.

Let me know either way.

Thank you, but heres a strange thing, if I delete completely the current
Switchboard then start fresh & create two or three new ones then it's fine.
But if I try to add an additional switchboard to a n existing program it
won't work.

Hi Bruce,

To avoid some confusion let's try a little different terminology.
You have one, and only one, Switchboard *form*.
Using the wizard you can add additional *menus* onto the
Switchboard form.

When you say "...delete completely the current Switchboard..." are
you talking about the form or a menu?

Have you modified in any way the underlying code behind the
Switchboard *form*?
