Switchboards

I created a switchboard and enabled it to run on startup. To prevent access to the tables and everything else i unchecked all the boxes for menus and toolbars being displayed. Now I am locked out of it myself, how can I get back in to change it?

Hold down the shift key when you open your database. This will prevent the
switchboard form from opening at startup. You should then be able to make
the necessary changes.

Mark,
Just a slight modification from that. Holding down the shift key actually
prevents the "startup options" from running AND, also, prevents an AutoExec
Macro from running. Thus all the standard menu's and functions are
available, along with the database window.

Is there any way to have the switchboard come up and everything to prevent users from doing what you only allow them to do through a switchboard?

Yes Lynn, The idea of this was just to allow Beth to make the changes
required to re-enable her access to tables etc.

Ray,
Either convert the database to an MDE file or secure your database with user
level security.
