switching applications

Hi

I'm currently having a problem trying to find out how to
switch from my database to another application (in this
instance lotus notes) and back again (with some sendkeys
in the middle of that so i can send a new fax memo)

So i was wondering if anyone had/knows the code to add to
a button on a form to switch between open applications and
back again

Any help would be gratefuly appreciated
