switching between multiple open documents in one instance

In MS Word 2000 it is possible to open several documents under one
instance of the application. The list of documents that are open can
be seen in the Window drop down menu and the documents can be viewed
with a mouse click. Is it possible to switch between these open
documents using a keyboard shortcut without opening the menu?

Thanks,
Liglin

Word 2K puts each document into its own window, with its own taskbar
button. Therefore, the standard Windows shortcut of Alt+Tab will work.
(Remember to hold down Alt and then hit Tab multiple times to go the
document you want. Otherwise, you'll just switch back and forth
between the last two windows.)

To move through open Word docs only, use the built-in menu keyboard
shortcuts, i.e. the underlined letters on each menu item. Alt+W,1 will
take you to the first document you opened, Alt+W,2 will take you to
the second, etc. (This means, hold down Alt, press and release W, then
press and release the number you want, then let go of Alt.)

Liglin,

Try clicking on the WINDOW menu in the menu bar (ALT +W will bring it down)
and from there select any one of the files you have open. The one with the
current focus has a tick. You can also minimise both, size them and work on
one while looking at the other.
