I have a multi-user relational database, with a front end and back end. We
are using Access 2007 but the file format is in 2003 at least until I make
some User-Level Security decisions. We are also considering a possible move
to SQL Server for our back end in the next year or two.
I would consider myself "intermediate" in writting queries with SQL ... but
am teaching myself more about the language everyday.
I've recently come across some instructions in a book on switching to ANSI-92
Syntax. The book mentions that the version functions at a more advanced
level and also mentions there's a newer version in the works. A little
online research showed me that there may be some new syntax that I'd need to
learn ...
If anyone is willing to take the time to share their opinions or experiences
I'd love to hear if this is something I should consider and why/why not.
Thank you!
