Switching from the french version of Office to the English version

Elbowes

I am currently using the french version of Outlook, Word, PWP and Excel
(windows is english) and want desperately to change to the english versions.
How do I go about doing that. Must I uninstall the french first or will
installing the English version just replace the french. Will my data be
proserved/protected. I do have a backup just in case.
Tks for your help

Hi Elbowes,

The answer will vary depending on if you're using Office 2007 or an earlier version. Office 2007 is language neutral and single
language packs can be added. For prior versions, the Office Multi User Interface product was a corporate (Enterprise only) offering
and installing multiple versions of MS Office on a single PC could produce some really odd results (same file names, different
contents).

Hi Bob
Tks so much - it's Office 2003 and not to worry - I went ahead and did the
install - and it went well and I am happy to say that I am currently running
the english version of office 2003.
Regards
