Hi there,

I like to have the tool bar minimized and have only my favorites bar showing. As such I do like to use keyboard shortcuts as much as possible.

Is there a way to change the keyboard shortcut to create a new email message. By default it is Command N but I have this combination set for a global action (to start Namely an application launcher)

Thank you for any help,

Be well,
J

IMHO, I think you might be better off changing the shortcut for the
application launcher as Command N is such a stand shortcut for every
application. I use Command-\ to launch LaunchBar.

You can change some shortcuts using the Keyboard & Mouse Preference Pane in
System Preferences. You might need to disable the default one for this to
work. You can also use some of the third party applications like Keyboard
Maestro to do this. See this page to get you started.

Thank you Diane for your quick reply.

I took your advice and switched the key command for my Namely as you
suggested.

Thanks again.
