switching software install from desktop to laptop

I just installed one note on my desktop and then onto my laptop but it only
lets you use one install on one or the other. So I uninstalled it on my
desktop then installed it only on my laptop. It says I have used my one time
install already. What can I do to get the install switched to my laptop?

Aloha Kim,

You should be able to install it on both - the EULA specifically allows for
one desktop and one portable device as I recall. What made you think you'd
have to uninstall from the desktop?

If you have activated OneNote too many times, you can always use the
telephone method of activating it. It worked for me.
