Switching to other e-mail addresses

I am having a heck of time (sometimes) when trying to switch between my
several e-mail addresses on my 2003 Outlook. Granted, I must first close
outlook and then restart to choose which email to use. However, sometimes it
allows me to choose a sometimes the choose window doesn't show up and
automatically goes to the e-mail address I closed, it could be a minute or an
hour since I closed Outlook. This is frustrating as heck!

I checked with Dell tech support, figuring I might be doing something wrong,
however, Dell Tech's told me that Microsoft is aware of this situation and
has corrected the problem in 2007 Outlook. Dell tech's advised me that they
constantly getting the same questions from other customers. The technician
also told me that I have to purchase Office 2007 to correct it. This is
Garbage! I have no intention of buying the 2007 version. If anything,
Microsoft should at least fix their product (2003) or GIVE the 2007 version
to those experiencing the same problem I am having, if Microsoft is incapable
of correcting their programing issues. maybe they should upgrade their
Programers and maybe hire some people from McAfgee, or Symantec or Sage.

If anyone knows how to resolve this issue, please, please advise.

Thanks

No need to rant on this one as Dell has informed you wrong.

If you have multiple accounts configured in a single mail profile you can
easily choose the account to send from by using the Accounts button near the
Send button. If you have setup a mail profile for each account you indeed
have to restart Outlook to choose a mail profile. If it doesn't prompt you
for a profile it means that the outlook.exe process hasn't closed yet. Most
of the times this happens by faulty add-ins or a connected mobile device.
