Switching views

Hello,

I am having trouble switching views. I want to use a default view where a
user can enter 3 fields of data then press a details button to bring up a new
view where they can enter more details.

The problem occurs when I have more than one set of data in the default
view. If i then go to the details view I always end up with the first set of
data from the default view and all the other details from the default view
are repeated on this from. All I want is for the correct set of details to
appear in the details view when the user selects the details button. Hope
ths makes some sense?
