When inserting an AutoCAD 2000 and newer drawing into Visio 2003, any
fractional dimensions (i.e. ½") show up as Unicode characters (i.e. Ã).
After converting said AutoCAD drawing, the unicode character then becomes
several characters (i.e. %%208") (note the " only are present on the original
AutoCAD drawing and inseterted, converted drawing, and do not show up on just
the inserted drawing).
Is there a way for Visio to convert the unicode character or the other
characters screen into ½"?
I'm hoping that this is just a setting I have overlooked. Only been using
Visio for three months.
