Hello I'm working on a project and we have some lengthy word documents that
tend to use a lot of equations and hence greek symbols. Currently these are
all encoded using the special 'symbol' font. Eventually we'd like to convert
all these symbols into actual unicode characters in order to make the easier
to convert to HTML as well as taking up less space. Does anyone have any
suggestions about how to do that? I've seen a couple links related to symbols
font such as http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=212396 but we need to
actually keep the symbol, just change the encoding.
As a side note, if anyone has any other suggestions about how effectively
convert word documents to HTML those would be appreciated as well.
