Symbol not printing on page

I've typed a document using the Univers 11 pt font and I inserted the
fraction symbol 1/3. The fraction symbol displays on the computer monitor
but does not show up on the printed document. What's going on?

If you're using an older HP LaserJet that has Univers built in, then the
resident font is by default substituted for the TrueType one in printing,
and the resident font may not include the full Unicode character set. You
can override this in the printer Properties by checking "Print TrueType as
graphics" (or "Download TrueType as bitmap soft fonts" or the like).
