Symbols for "therefore" and "because"

Val Moore

Using Word 2000 in Windows NT, I would like to use
shortcut symbols for "therefore" (three dots in a
triangular shape) and "because" (three dots in an inverted
triangular shape) but I cannot find them in the Symbol
list, and do not know how to create them. Any advice?

In the Symbol font, "therefore" is character 92. As for "because," I can't
find it even in Arial Unicode.

In thre basence of an appropriate font character, both symbols are also in
the Equation editor. If you insert the appropriate equation object, set it
to 'in line with text' you can save it as a formatted autocorrect (or
autotext) entry in the case of the former, you could have it autocorrect
something memorable, such as 'cos'.
